Memorial School

Mrs. Susan Son

We are proud to announce that the Memorial School 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Susan Son!

Mrs. Son, our incredible 8th Grade ELA teacher, is known for her passion, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment to her students. Whether in the classroom or through her involvement in extracurricular activities, including co-leading the TREPS program, Mrs. Son goes above and beyond. She deeply cares for her students and is always seeking new ways to connect with and actively engage them in their learning. Congratulations, Mrs. Son, on this well-deserved recognition! We are lucky to have you as part of the Memorial School family.

Officers Jen Ali & Joe Montemurro had the pleasure of driving the Kanan kids to school today. Congrats for winning “Get a Ride to School from a Police Officer” from the 8th grade casino night tricky tray. We would like to thank everyone who entered the LFPD basket from that event.

This talented group of boys, led by Coach Buck, were serious about taking it to the net this season. Between every fast break, rebound, and occasional airball, this team had the consistent mindset of being “in it to win it!”
