Custom Plan for Continued Food Service During a “Public 
Health-Related Emergency School Closing for Little Ferry Public Schools


Little Ferry School district has announced school closure for an extended period of time as a result of the COVID-19 virus, the District has coordinated a plan with our food service provider, TJ Rocco Enterprises/LJ’s Food Service, to continue offer meals to eligible students during the closing.

LJ’s Food Service will prepare boxed meals consisting of all 5 components for lunch and all 4 components for breakfast. The meals will be delivered to your house the 1st day of the week school is in session. Delivery will be once per week between 9:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. and include breakfast and lunch for all day’s school is in session that week.

Meals included are similar to our normal cold breakfast and lunch menu. Cereal, cereal bars, muffins, pizza fit meal, bagel meal, Uncrustable meal, hummus fit meal, sandwiches, salads, etc.
All eligible households have been notified of service, special need requests will be accommodated per request.  Updated communication will continue via our School Messenger system.
These meals are available at no charge to students who currently qualify for free and reduced price meals in the Little Ferry School district.

In addition to an updated credit policy, the district has also implemented a new “CASHLESS” policy. You must fund your breakfast and lunch account with a credit card or checking account through www.payforit.net
